1 Safety Instructions

1.1 General Safety Instructions

Read the manuals of the device and the weighing terminal carefully before use.
For safety reasons, follow the warnings and instructions stated in all related manuals strictly.
The safety of the device cannot be ensured if it is not operated in accordance with the operating instructions
and if it is not serviced in accordance with this manual.
Only permit qualified personnel to service the equipment. Exercise care when making checks, tests and
adjustments that must be made with power on. Failure to observe this precaution could result in bodily
harm and/ or property damage.
Before connecting/disconnecting any internal electronic components or interconnecting wiring between
electronic equipment always remove power and wait at least thirty (30) seconds before any connections or
disconnections are made. Failure to observe these precautions could result in damage to or destruction of
the equipment and/or bodily harm.
