Start-up and Test
1.
If NOT using an external microphone, disconnect cable attached to connector (5)
(External microphone connected at factory).

If NOT using external pictograms, disconnect cable attached to connector (6)
(External pictograms connected at factory).
3.
Connect device with DCP via connector (10) (see section 'Connections to CANbus'
below).
4.
If using 2-wire CANbus connection, enable the internal battery backup using Jumper
(2) for battery configuration. (Default battery configuration: disabled) There is no
need to enable the battery if using 4-wire CANbus connection.
5.
Connect Cabin Alarm to connector (4) (See section on 'Connector Detail' below).
6.
For installations with one elevator only, do not change the default settings of the
DAU configuration dipswitch (9). For installations with more than one elevator, see
chapter on DAU configurations.
7.
Place the lid back on the DAU and fasten with screws.
8.
Programming of the device is done via the DCP Digital Communications Platform (see
DCP instructions).
