Fine Adjustment of the Voltage (Mains operated Machines)
In case of voltage fluctuations in the mains it may be necessary to adjust the
machine. Switch the machine on. Turn the voltage adjustment screw (6) with a screwdriver
or small coin so that the machine runs as quietly as possible.
Preparing for Cutting
1. Briefly comb the hair.
2. Remove the blade protection.
3. Oil the blades slightly.
4. Place a cutting length guide suitable to the desired cutting length. If you are not sure of
the cutting length, start from 12 mm. Insert the blades in the slot and fit the attachment
on the blade.
5. Insert the plug in a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz protective contact socket, switch on the de-
vice and run the device with the guide comb upwards and at a constant speed through
your hair. The guide is held in a level position.
Cutting without Cutting Length Accessory
This is suitable for trimming the hair. The cutting length can be adjusted continuously in the
range of approximately 0 - 2 mm.
For areas which are not accessible to the razor it is possible to use a pair of scissors.
Important: Do not use the device for more than 10 minutes. Allow the equipment to cool
