INSTRUCTION MANUAL
INSTRUCTION
Please read this instruction carefully in order to use the scale correctly & keep the scale in good
condition.

HOW TO OPERATE
1. Remove the cover of battery compartment at the bottom of the scale. Insert 2 pcs. AAA
batteries in proper polarity (not included). Close battery cover.
2. Place the scale on a hard & flat surface, ensure scale sit stable then put the bowl on the
weighing platform.
3. Press button „ON/OFF" to turn on the scale. Wait for „0" to appear on LCD (about 2 seconds)
as following:
The scale is ready for weighing now!
4. „Kg/g" conversion: whenever you wish, you can press button „UNIT" to convert between Kg-
g. When weighing, try to keep the weighing object to the centre of the bowl. Read the display
when the reading is stable. The weight will be displayed in the following format:
ZERO" OR „TARE" FUNCTION
To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale.
Put first Load on the scale, get weight reading. Press Z/T button to reset the LCD reading to „0"
bevor adding next load.
Condition 1: When total sum of all loads on scale ≤ 4% of scale´s max. weight capacity.
(4%=80g when capacity is 2kg; 200g when capacity is 5kg)
LCD will show „0g" each time Z/T is pressed. Icon „ZERO" will show on lower left corner of
LCD, indicating „ZERO" function is active. Max. weight capacity remains unchanged.
Condition 2: When total sum of all loads on scale > 4% of scale´s max. weight capacity.
(4%=80g when capacity is 2kg; 200g when capacity is 5kg)
LCD will show „0g" each time Z/T is pressed. Icon „TARE" will show on lower left corner of
LCD, indicating „TARE" function is active. Max. weight capacity is reduced by total weight of
all loads.

AUTO-OFF/MANUAL OFF
1. When the scale first turned on and on weighing activity taking place within 2 minutes, it will
be automatically turned off.
2. If after some weighing activities taken place, the scale then left sitting idle it will be
automatically turned off in 2 minutes.
3. You can also manually turn off the scale whenever needed by pressing button „ON/OFF".
CAUTION NOT TO OVERLOAD
The maximum capacity of your scale is indicated on the display panel. If the loading exceeds the
capacity by 1%, the display will start to indicate warning message „ERR". CAUTION: SHOULD
BE TAKEN NOT OT OVERLOAD TO EXCEED THE CAPACITY OF THE SCALE. EXCEEDING
THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SCALE.
LOW BATTERY INDICATION
When battery is low, „LO" will appear on the LCD
PLEASE REPLACE WITH NEW BATTERY.
CARE TAKING AND TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. The scale is a precision instrument. Please avoid heavy striking, do not keep it laden with
weights for a long period.
2. Do not press button heavily or with sharp object such as pen-tip.
3. When you switch on the scale after pressing the button „ON/OFF", and find nothing appear
on the LCD screen. Please ensure & check the battery is installed and well connected. Or if
battery is already well installed, it may be low in power, replace it with new one.
4. Do not use any chemical or abrasive solvent to clean the scale. It is recommended to use
soft damp cloth to gently wipe clean the scale once in a while. DO NOT IMMERSE THE
SCALE IN WATER.
5. Always keep the scale far away from heat, I.E. stove, to keep the button from aging which
will lead to loss of function.
6. When the scale is under weighing, keep away from electromagnetic interference (EMI) I.E.
mobile phone, to avoid unwanted interference to the accuracy.
7. Please remove the battery if it is not going to be used for an extended period.
8. This scale is only for domestic use.

You can help protect the environment! Please remember to respect the local regulations: hand in
the non-working electrical equipments to an appropriate waste disposal center.
