3.3 CE label
The CE label shows that the products
comply with the basic requirements of the
applicable directives as stated on the iden-
tification plate.
The declaration of conformity can be
viewed at the manufacturer's site.
4 Operation
4.1 Starting up
The control is ready for operation as soon
as it has been connected to a MASTER
ventilation unit and supplied with electri-
city. Contact your competent person to
start up the control.
4.2 Operation
Use the buttons on the product to operate
the ventilation units and select the operat-
ing modes and functions.
If a button has been pressed to select the
operating mode, the buttons that can be
activated in this operating mode flash con-
stantly for 10 seconds. If you do not press
any other buttons within 10 seconds, the
buttons' background lighting goes out in
order to save energy. Pressing any button
reactivates the buttons' background light-
ing.
If you press the button to select manual
mode and then do not press any buttons
for 10 seconds (ventilation speed, aera-
tion/ventilation, cross ventilation), the vent-
ilation units switch to eco mode.

4.3 Operating modes
4.3.1 Automatic mode
In automatic mode, the connected ventila-
tion units each ventilate and aerate altern-
ately for 70 seconds at the lowest ventila-
tion speed. A regenerator in the ventilation
unit absorbs the heat from the room air
during aeration, and emits it back into the
inflowing outdoor air during ventilation.
A light sensor in the control monitors the
brightness in the room. Night mode or day
mode is switched on depending on the
brightness.
Sensors in the control monitor the air hu-
midity and the CO₂ content of the air. If the
limit values are exceeded, the ventilation
units therefore start to reduce the air hu-
midity and/or the CO₂ content:
– In day mode, the air is exchanged via
alternating aeration and ventilation at an
average ventilation speed. In this case,
a regenerator in the ventilation unit ab-
sorbs the heat from the room air during
aeration, and emits it back into the in-
flowing outdoor air during ventilation.
– In night mode, the air is exchanged
via cross ventilation in one direction
(MASTER aerated) at the lowest vent-
ilation speed in order to keep noise to a
minimum.
If the values fall below the limit values
again by five per cent, the ventilation units
return to normal mode.
The limit value for the air humidity can
be adjusted over three levels using the
buttons on the control.
Feedback:
– When automatic mode is activated, the
LED at the MASTER flashes white and
red once.
– If preset limit values are exceeded, the
LED on the MASTER lights up red and
remains lit.
