Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically controlled
instantaneous heaters. Operation with low-pressure
displacement water heaters is not possible!

• Install connectors G1/2 according to specified
dimensions, see Fig. [1].
• With dimensions of 610mm x 150mm, the removable
cover plate (C) is designed for use with 150mm tiles,
see Fig. [2].
Obviously, it can also be used with tiles and plates of
any other dimensions.
This must however be taken into account when de-
signing the inspection chamber in order to ensure that
no problems arise during tiling.

Preliminary installation
Installation of frame, see fold-out page II.
1. Insert the enclosed plugs (D1) in the masonry,
see Fig. [2].
For installation directly onto the floor, supporting
brackets are available as a special accessory (order
no. 45 388), see replacement parts fold-out page I.
2. Remove protective sleeves (E) and cover plate (C).
3. Screw enclosed hose (G) (long, red marking) to the hot
water threaded connector.
4. Screw enclosed hose (H) (short, blue marking) to the
cold water threaded connector.
5. Mount the drain hose (A) to the hose box (B).
6. Guide hoses (G) and (H) upwards through the fitting
assembly, insert the fitting and fix to the masonry using
the enclosed screws (D2).
7. Connect hoses (G) and (H).

8. Locate cover plate (C) and protective sleeves (E),
see Fig. [2].
Note for plumber:

Do not carry out any further installation procedures until
the bath has been installed or tiling is completed.

Note for tiler:
Prepare top plate (C), see fold-out page III.
1. Break out suitable drill holes out of the drilling
template (J), see Fig. [4].
2. Place tiles on top plate (C), place drilling template (J) on
tiles and mark positions of apertures or bores.
3. Make apertures or bores in tiles, cement tiles to
top plate (C) and grout joints after cement has set,
see Fig. [5].
4. Locate top plate (C) and protective sleeves (E),
see Fig. [6].
Caution:
Proceed as follows if there is a difference in height
between the cover plate and the adjacent tiles:
1. Remove protective sleeves (E) and top plate (C) again
and turn the six grub screws (K) until plate is level with
height of bath rim, see Fig. [6].
2. Locate top plate (C) and protective sleeves (E).
Perform final installation.
Further installation procedures are explained in the final
installation for the trim set.
