Motion Detector Low Battery Indication
The 9V battery should operate the detector for approximately 12 months depending
on the number of activations each day and the effect of low temperatures. When the
battery is nearing the end of its life (about 30 days before failure), the low battery
status will be indicated by the red LED behind the detector lens flashing 5 times
after movement is detected. You should change the battery in the detector as soon
as you notice the low battery signal or if the detector stops working altogether.
NOTE: User is required to let the wireless motion detector warm up for 2 minutes
after connecting the battery regardless of LED flashing. The wireless motion detec-
tor will not respond to any movement during the warm-up cycle.
Testing:
The system may be tested by placing the detector into Walk Test, (see "Motion
Detector Walk Test").
