5.4 Manual equalisation of the lift rails
Access to the DIP switch may only be done by a trained, authorised specialist.
Caution, the vehicle and vehicle response must be monitored continuously.
•
If the controller detects a height difference of approx. 40 mm
between the lift rails, the lift automatically sets down.
•
To equalise the lift rails, some preparation must be done:
•
Open the control cabinet Caution voltage!!!
•
The lean controller with DIP switch is located in the control cabinet of the operating unit
(see figure 4).
DIP switch 5 (Controller on/off) (see figure 4)
DIP switch 1 (only lift rail 1 is movable)
DIP switch 2 (only lift rail 2 is movable)
DIP switch 7 (reset - null display, the lift is in the lowest position)
Perform equalisation:
If possible always move the lowest rail upwards.
After selecting lift rail 1 (control cabinet side) or 2 (opposite side)
•
Equalise the lower lift rail.
•
Place the DIP switch 5 to the "off" position (Controller off).
•
using DIP switch 1 or 2 to select the lowest rail and set it to the "On" position
•
Caution, observe the vehicle
•
Push the "Lift" button and simultaneously push the bridging knob (see page 6, figure 4)
until the lift rails are at the same height.
•
The values in the display are almost the same
•
Place the DIP switch 1 and 2 to the "off" position again.
•
Set DIP switch 5 to "on" position (Controller on)
•
Push the "Lower" button until the lift reaches the lowest position in order to do a reset.
(See Section 6.3 "Reset lean controller")
•
Close the control cabinet.
