(Fig. 3.1 component 16 and 17; Fig. 6.3.4)
In the heater-cooker, between the re door and the ash
box door, in the cover shown as component 24 in g.
3.1, a thermometer and a pressure gauge have been
installed (Fig. 3.1 component 16 and 17; Fig. 6.3.4), so
that they are not installed separately in the system. The
thermometer (component 17) shows the temperature of
the water in the boiler (operating temperature between
40° and 85° C).
The pressure gauge (component 16) shows the pressure
in bars of the water in the boiler.

PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR THE HEATING
SYSTEM
• All the connections should be hermetically sealed and
blocked.
• Before starting the system, clean it by draining all the
water in the system at least once.
• In installations where the heater-cooker alone is
featured, an 18 litre expansion tank can be used (no
smaller than 12 litres) connected to the return line, near
the boiler. On-off valves should not be tted between the
expansion tank and the boiler!

COMMISSIONING AND USING
THE COOKER
7.1
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE FOR THE USER
7.1.1
Before lighting the re, the entire system should be lled
with water (thereby draining any air it might contain), while
the heater-cooker should be suitably connected to the
ue as described above.
The cooker cannot be used without water.
Moreover, it should be connected to a suitably sized
heating system by a quali ed technician.
When the system is cool, the power control membrane
(thermometer for combustion control on the ash box door)
is open (Fig. 3.1 component 10, component 19).
7.1.2
FIRST START-UP
Check that all movable parts are properly placed and the
air regulator and the smoke valve work correctly.
Clean all external surfaces with a dry cloth to remove
any dirt.
The first ignition of the product (whether after
installation or early season) must be made with
reduced loads (~ 2 kg / h) while the product is
operating for at least 4 hours at low power. Proceed
with these rhythms of charge for at least the next
three days, before you can use the product to its
full capacity. This will allow the evaporation of any
moisture present in the rebox.
When the cooker is started the rst time, unpleasant
odours or smoke may be generated, caused by
evaporation or drying of certain materials used.
This phenomenon will gradually disappear.
The room should be well ventilated when starting
the cooker the rst few times.
