• PTY button (21)
This button activates the PTY function.
There are two different groups of PTY (MUSIC and LANGUAGE). Select them by pressing the PTY button (21)
once more.
PTY group MUSIC > PTY group LANGUAGE
To select the desired programme type, push one of the station buttons 1-6 (15). The buttons have the programme
types assigned as follows:
Button PTY group MUSIC
1 POP M, ROCK M
2 EASY M, LIGHT M
3 CLASSICS, OTHER M
4 JAZZ, COUNTRY
5 NATION M, OLDIES
6 FOLK M
Briefly after selection of the programme type, search for a station that sends this programme type will start.

If this scan does not find any station with the selected programme type, the display shows PTY NONE
and the previously received transmitter is not changed.
