OPERATION
3.1 Ice-crusher
Connect the appliance to the mains switch which has been
previously installed. With the ice crusher lever raised, press switch
(1) to position "1". The mechanically activated indicator on the
button will turn red when the appliance is on. Place the ice, possibly
in cubes, in the feed box.
The motor will start when the ice crusher lever is lowered, activating
the safety micro-switch located inside the appliance. This special
safety device, which turns off the motor when the ice crusher lever
is raised, prevents accidental contact of the fingers with the ice
crusher blades. The crushed ice is collected in the special bowl
placed beneath the outlet.
The appliance should only be used for the time period necessary
to actually crush the ice and/or squeeze the fruit.
Therefore, do not operate the appliance for long periods of time
when it is empty. Always wait for the motor to stop running before
raising the lever.
After using the appliance, it is advisable to disconnect it from the
switch, then from the mains by means of the main wall switch.
