28. Never touch the muffler guard, guide bar or saw chain with bare hands while the engine is in
operation or immediately after shutting down the engine.
Doing so could result in serious burns because of high temperature.
29.1. Become familiar with the controls and the proper use of the equipment.
29.2.Store idle machine
When not in use, product should be stored in a dry, high or locked up place, out of reach of
children.
29.3. Do not force the tool
It will do the job better and safer at the rate speed for which it is intended.
The product will do a better and safer job if it is used only for the purposes it was designed for.
29.4. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches
Form the habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the machine
before operating it.
29.5. Defective switches or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by
an authorized service centre. Do not use the machine if the switch does not turn it on and off.
29.6. Warning
The use of any accessory or attachment, other than those recommended in this instruction manual,
may present a risk of injury to persons or animals and may cause damages.

22. Do NOT expose to and do not use during bad weather conditions: Never
cut in high wind, bad weather (e.g. rain, storm, snow...), when visibility is
poor or in very high or low temperatures.
Always check the tree for dead branches which could fall during the felling

Never start or run the engine inside a closed room or building.

25. Do not operate the chainsaw in a tree unless specially trained to do so.
Do not operate the saw perched on a ladder, platform or other support or
lifting device.
26. Guard against kickback.
Kickback is the upward motion of the guide bar which occurs when the saw
chain at the nose of the guide bar contacts an object.
Kickback can lead to dangerous loss of control of the chain saw.
27. When transporting your chain saw:
-- make sure the appropriate guide bar scabbard is in place.
-- secure the machine to avoid fuel leakage, damage or injury.
