1. INTRODUCTION

This manual is an integral and essential part of the E-OMNIA pedal-assist bicycle and must be handed
over to the user.
Before use, it is essential that users read, understand, and follow the following provisions carefully.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any personal injury or damage to property, including to
the pedal-assist bicycles itself, if they are used incorrectly with respect to the instructions given in
this manual.
In view of the continuous technological development, the manufacturer reserves the right to modify
the pedal-assist bicycles without notice, without this manual being automatically updated.
The Use and Maintenance manual is integral to the bicycle; it must therefore be kept intact in a safe
place throughout the lifetime of the bicycle. This manual must be available to the user at all times.
If you have any problems or need clarifications, please contact without hesitation the specialist dealer

1.1 SAFETY WARNINGS

Refer to the specific sheet "Safety Warnings" and read it carefully in its entirety to avoid health risks
or damage to property or persons.
Some safety topics will be described later, with the following symbols:
PAY ATTENTION
Highlights behavioural norms to be followed to avoid damage to the pedal-assist bicycle and/or
the occurrence of dangerous situations.
RESIDUAL RISKS
Highlights the presence of residual hazards that the user should consider to avoid injury or damage.

1.2 LIABILITY

Failure to comply with the operating instructions and safety provisions contained herein will relieve
the manufacturer of any liability.
If the maintenance of the pedal-assist bicycle is carried out in a way that does not comply with the
instructions given, with non-original spare parts, or in any way that affects its integrity or modifies
its characteristics, the manufacturer shall not be liable with regard to the safety of persons and the
defective operation of the pedal-assist bicycle.
The pedal-assist bicycle is delivered assembled and ready for use by the dealer unless otherwise
indicated at the time of sale. The seller is responsible for unpacking and setting up the bicycle.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE BICYCLE

2.1 DESIGNED USE

The manufacturer or the dealer shall not be liable for any damage resulting from the use of the
pedal-assist bicycle that is not in conformity with its intended use.
The designed uses are described in the following table. The E-OMNIA pedal-assist bicycle has different
types of use depending on the model. The model-category association is shown below.

2.2 GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

All E-OMNIA pedal-assist models are equipped with a rechargeable battery and electric motor, which
operates only when pedalling and gradually stops as the vehicle speed approaches 25 km/h (20 or 28
mph for the US version), and then stops completely at that speed. The models are listed in the following
table, including photos, relevant code, and intended use (for full specifications, see www.bianchi.com):

Intended for use on artificially paved
surfaces such as paved roads and cycle
paths.
Wheels are constantly in contact with the
ground.
Intended for use on category 1 surfaces
in addition to tracks covered with gravel,
sand or similar materials (e.g. forest
roads, dirt roads, paved hiking trails with
limited presence of roots).
Wheels are constantly in contact with
the ground or lose it only because of
uneven ground (e.g. roots).
Intended for use on category 2 surfaces
as well as unpaved and medium-rough
hiking trails (up to 50 cm).
Intended for use on category 3 surfaces
as well as unpaved and medium-hard
hiking trails (up to 1 m).
Intended for use on category 4 surfaces
as well as unpaved and very rough hiking
trails featuring extreme slopes.
