In this way, the hitch is in the ideal position for the work it has to do (see Safety
Instructions).
If implements that produce a great deal of inertia (e.g. lawn mowers,
brush-wood choppers, etc.) are connected to the PTO, it is advisable
to use a cardan shaft transmission with "free wheel" device. As it
prevents drive from being transmitted from the implement to the
machine, this device allows these latter to immediately stop as soon as the
clutch is depressed.

4.8 HYDRAULIC LIFT

Use lever n.8 fig.1 to operate the lift pulling back the ring under the gripper knob.
This ring under the gripper knob is a further safety element to prevent
accidental operation of the hydraulic lift.
To raise the implement, push the lever forward; when you release the lever, the
implement will stop at that position.
To lower the implement, pull the lever back towards the seat.
When the lever is in its fully back position, the lift is in its floating position so that
any implement mounted can follow the ground contour.
The 3-point hitch must NOT be used to pull implements.
Max. weight at lift arms: 500 kg.

4.9 SAFETY FRAME (roll-bar or ROPS) - (where applicable)

The machine is equipped with a folding safety frame. Always keep the safety
frame mounted in its correct vertical position when you are working. It is
absolutely forbidden to modify the structural components of this type of
construction by welding on additional parts, drilling holes, grinding, etc. Failure to
comply with these recommendations could impair the rigidity of the frame itself.
The safety frame is subjected to considerable stress if the tractor tips over. If this
happens, the structural components must be replaced if they have been bent,
deformed or damaged in some other way.
When in the horizontal position, the safety frame will provide no
protection if the tractor tips up. When working in these conditions,
it is of the utmost importance for the operator to pay the greatest attention
when manoeuvring the machine.
