4 Operation
4.1

Prior to initial operation

* Please check the safety equipment (chapter 1.9).
* Thoroughly clean the machine (chapter 6).
4.2

Cutting operation

Warning !
Rotating knife ! May sever fingers.
Do not reach into the running knife !
Always use the end piece holder to hold the product. Hold the end piece
holder at the handle only.
* Set the requested cutting thickness.
* Pull back the carriage.
* Place the product on the carriage and press it against the stop plate.
* Press the end piece holder
- from the top on to the product in case of big pieces.
- from the side against the product in case of smaller pieces.
* Press the green on button. The machine will start operating.
* Push the carriage forward and backward for cutting.
