Work place

Operate the machine only, if you are standing upright and securely. Stand in
front of the machine looking at the on-off switch and the adjustment button.
Keep the work place clean and well arrange. The machine has to be set up
on a secure and stable support which will withstand a weight of approx. 18
kg and slight vibrations.
1.7

Authorised operator

The slicing machine may be operated by persons only, who
- have read and understood the operating conditions,
- have been trained for the operation,
- who have been made acquainted with the hazards caused by the machine
and with the hygiene instructions (page 6).
The machine may be services and repaired by trained expert staff only (me-
chanic, electrician).
Please ensure that no authorised persons can use, clean or service the
machine.
1.8 Workwear
Wear tight-fitting clothing when operating the machine. Observe the hygiene
regulations. Wear protective gloves with wrist protection when servicing and
cleaning the knife.
