Creating air inlets and outlets

NOTE
At high ambient temperatures, the refrigerator can only provide
its maximum cooling capacity if the best possible air supply and
discharge has been provided.
➤ Create an air inlet and an air outlet in the exterior wall with a size of
451 mm x 156 mm. Observe the instructions while doing so, see chapter
"Preparing for installation" on page 33.
If the ventilation grille of the air inlet cannot be installed flush with the floor of
the installation recess, you must install an air inlet in the floor:
➤ Behind the refrigerator, in the area of the gas burner, create an air inlet in
the ground with a diameter of at least 40 mm (fig. 4 4, page 3). The air
supply pipe must lead directly to the outside. That allows escaping
unburned gas to escape outside.
➤ Protect the end of the hole with a deflector to prevent mud or dirt getting
in while the vehicle is driving (fig. 6, page 4).
