 Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plates.
The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plates.
 Select the temperature. The cooking plates have a range of temperatures.
 Due to the cooking plates' construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This
may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
After use, turn the temperature dials to "0" and unplug the appliance from the electrical

outlet.
CLEANING
 Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
 Wipe the housing only with a moistened cloth or sponge.
 Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish.
 The ceramic plate can also be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a commercially
available special cleansing agent for ceramic glass hobs and induction cooking plates to
remove stubborn stains or discolorations on the plate, and if necessary also a stainless steel
wool sponge.
 Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
