1. ASSUMPTION
− Please read these instructions carefully before use.
Damages resulting as consequence of instructions
disregards will not be covered by manufacturer's
warranty.
− Please pay particular attention to the chapter
relating the safety instructions.
− Save these instructions and refer to them anytime your
are in doubt.
2. MAIN APPLICATIONS
These submersible electric pumps are made mainly for the
applications listed below:
Clean water pumping
Dirty water pumping
Drainage
Circulation anti-putrefaction
3. USE CONDITIONS
− Liquid temperature must not exceed 35° C.
− These pumps are suitable to be used in to chemically
neutral liquids.
− Do not pump hydrocarbons or any other
inflammable liquid.
Pumping liquids containing sand or other abrasives will
reduce sensitively the life of the pumps. The presence
of sand into the pump renders the warranty null and
void.
The pump should never run dry to avoid the damage of
seals and motor overheating.
4. SAFETY
Careless use of electric appliances is always
dangerous. Electric appliances used into water
represent a potential risk of electric shock. Thus we
strongly recommend to pay full attention to the next
instructions. If you still have doubts, contact an expert
electrician or the manufacturer.
> when used into swimming pools or garden ponds the
regulations according to DIN VDE 0100 – 702, -738 and
eventual release must be strictly observed.
> People should enter into water while pump is
installed.

Do not touch the plug with wet hands! Switch
off and unplug the pump before any maintenance.
Do not cut or engrave the power cable. Do not join extra
cable.
Mains system must be provided of a residual current
device of max 30 mA capacity.
Do not buckle, squeeze drag or drive over the power
cable, protect from sharp edges.
Do not use power cable to carry the pump.
5. BEFORE OPERATION
During rotation the impeller may cause serious
injury if touched. To avoid any casual approach, the
pump must be always equipped with discharge hose 20
cm long minimum.
− Screw elbow using your hands into discharge port until
tightened enough. Do not use tools for extra tightening.
Rotate the elbow until upright position.
− Fit the discharge hose to elbow and secure it with hose
clamps if necessary. The internal hose diameter must fit
the external elbow size.
− Submerge carefully your pump onto select operation
place.
− The surface where the pump sits must me smooth
and solid. Do not sit the pump onto sharp or muddy
surfaces.
− Pump can also operate while hung. In this case hand
the pump through the handle. Ensure the pump from
possible rotation.
− If the pump is equipped with float switch, the space
should be large enough to allow the float free
movement.
ATTENTION! Do not submerge the pump deeper than
stated on the data chart.
Pump is equipped with air-escape nozzle to boost the
prime. Thus, you may notice a water leakage between the
upper and lower housing. Do not worry about it.
6. OPERATION
− First of all be sure the pump stated performance fits
your application.
− After plug-in the pump is ready for operation.
− Automatics pumps will start only when water level lifts
float switch totally.
− Pump will switch-off after drainage is completed and
float switch is back to original position.
