Inputs
"IN1" input – external release
A release button (or other potential-free tripping contact) can be connected to
the input. Depending on the Hi-O Technology™ devices connected, the tripping
contact activates various processes:
· a motorised lock drives in the bolt(s),
· a coupling lock couples the outer door handle,
· an electric strike is unlocked.
I
Note!
Central locking or fire alarm prevent an external release: if it was centrally
locked or if there is a fire alarm, the door cannot be unlocked via the input of ex-
ternal release. The external release only becomes effective after the central locking
and the fire alarm are withdrawn.
"IN2" input – external monitoring contact
An additional potential-free monitoring contact can be connected to the input,
for example, a reed relay that queries the door position.
A
Important!
The switching of open collector "OC3" is only possible if input is closed: open
collector "OC3" (door closed) can only be switched if the external monitoring
contact input is closed.
· Close the input with a jumper if no external monitoring contact is connected.
When connecting an additional external monitoring contact the internal
monitoring contact of the lock remains active. This means: with these locks both
monitoring contacts must remain locked, so that the door status closed is
recognised and open collector "OC3" switches to door closed.
