Description
A Hi-O Technology™ bus must be provided with a terminating resistor, which
terminates the bus. If the terminating resistor is missing then the data transfer
can be interrupted.
The Hi-O Technology™ bus (Highly Intelligent Opening) is a CAN bus for the con-
nection of electronic components (devices) in door systems. It serves to control
a door, the status monitoring and the exchange of information between the
individual devices (separate manual D01021xx ePED
Assignment to a Hi-O group offers the possibility of organising components into
groups. Assignment to a group takes place via the respective DIP switch ("Con-
nections", page 36).
With a motorised lock the bolt and latch are unlocked by an electromotor.
With a clutch lock the handle follower is generally split, so that the handle on a
lock side can be coupled and uncoupled via electronic control.
A lock with a monitoring function is equipped with monitoring contacts for elec-
tronic status signals.
