Important!
Unprotected wiring can be manipulated: The electronic door components are
interconnected and controlled via the wiring. The wiring must be installed in a
manner such that it is protected from manipulation and disturbances, and may
not be accessible from outside.
Property damage from connection with USB devices: The connection socket on

the housing cover (Fig. 2 page 30 –
) is not a USB jack. The device will be
destroyed if a USB device is connected via a standard USB cable A/B.
· Only use the ePED Service Interface USB 1386–SIF.

Note!
The bus system must be terminated: The bus system must be terminated with
a terminating resistor arranged as close to the centre as possible. The longest
branch connection line may not be longer than 10 m.
Use of motorised locks in systems with fire doors (smoke control doors): The
OneSystem
®
IO module N5951 must, when used in systems with fire doors (smoke
control doors), be combined with fire protection module 519ZBFS. All applicable
provisions for the approval of protective doors must be observed here.
