Presettings on the Bus Coupler
Danger of injury if changes are made to the settings during operation.
Uncontrolled movement of the actuators is possible!
Never change the settings during operation.
Configuration error!
An incorrect valve system configuration can cause malfunctions in and damage to the overall
system.
The configuration may therefore only be carried out by qualified personnel (see section 2.4
"Personnel qualifications" on page 77).
Observe the specifications of the system owner as well as any restrictions resulting from
the overall system.
Observe the documentation of your PLC configuration program.
The following presettings have to be made:
Setting the address on the bus coupler (see section 9.2 "Setting the address on the bus coupler"
on page 99)
Setting the baud rate (see section 9.4 "Changing the baud rate and activating the bus coupler
diagnosis" on page 100)
Setting diagnostic messages (see section 5.5 "Setting the bus coupler parameters" on page 89)
The address is set via the switches NA1 and NA2 below the window (see section 9.2 "Setting the
address on the bus coupler" on page 99).
The baud rate and the reporting of diagnostic data are set via DIP switch DR underneath the window
(see section 9.4 "Changing the baud rate and activating the bus coupler diagnosis" on page 100).

Opening and closing the window

Defective or improperly positioned seal!
Water may enter the device. The protection class IP65 is no longer guaranteed.
Make sure that the seal below the window (3) is intact and properly positioned.
Make sure that the screw (25) has been securely tightened with the correct torque (0.2 Nm).
1. Loosen the screw (25) on the window (3).
2. Lift up the window.
3. Carry out the settings as described in the next steps.
4. Close the window. Ensure that the seal is positioned correctly.
5. Tighten the screw.
Tightening torque: 0.2 Nm
