batteries can be destroyed, or rechargeable batteries can explode.
• Only use rechargeable batteries that suit the device's technical data.

1. Insert the rechargeable batteries with +/- alignment as shown in Figure E.
2. Place the rechargeable battery cover on from above on (Figure F).
3. Slide the cover to close it, until it clicks in place.
If you need to open the rechargeable battery cover again, to replace the
rechargeable batteries:
• Place your fingernail in the groove on the cover and slide the cover down
(Figure G).

Charging Batteries

• Before you use the handset for the first time,
put it in the charging cradle and fully charge
the rechargeable batteries.
The rechargeable batteries are fully charged
when the lighting flash symbol
Caution: The handset must be charged in the charging cradle supplied
with it!
Note: The rechargeable batteries might warm up during charging. This is
not dangerous. For technical reasons, the charging capacity of the
rechargeable batteries reduces over time.

Selecting a Display Language

The language setting display is displayed. The set
language (e. g. English) is marked (

2. Press the right-hand key directly under the display to activate the language.
