1. Position PURA™ in the place where it is to be installed. If it is to be wall mounted, drill holes along a

horizontal line spaced 254 mm (10") apart for fixing PURA™. Fix the instrument to the wall with the

filters placed vertically and level with 2 screw anchors having a capacity of at least 5 kg.

2. Screw the ¾" F– ¼" F reducer (Sec. 12, Code SPUA041) onto the tap (INSTALLED at Point E) of

the water system supply. Screw the ¼"M – ¼"T fitting onto the reducer (Sec. 12, Code SPUA028).

3. Connect the water supply tap to the inlet of the pre-filter (Sec. 12, Code SPUA045) with a cut length

of ¼" pipe supplied with the instrument (Sec. 12, Code SPUA036).

4. Using another cut length of the same pipe, connect the outlet of the pre-filter to the water inlet fitting

of PURA™.

5. Screw the rotating elbow fitting ¼"F – ¼"T (Sec. 12, Code SPUA044) onto the rear water supply

fitting of the autoclave (see autoclave manual).

6. Connect a cut length of ¼" pipe to the water outlet fitting of PURA™. Attention: If PURA™ is

installed at a lower level than the level of the autoclave inlet fitting, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

in previous POINT D.

7. Connect the other end of the pipe referred to in point 6 to the fitting referred to in point 5, screwed

onto the autoclave.

8. Connect the drain fitting of PURA™ to the waste water line, again using a cut length of ¼" pipe.

9. Connect the plug of the transformer (Sec. 14, rear view, item 16) to the power socket on PURA™

(same figure, item 4).

10. Connect the socket of the power supply cable to the transformer and plug into the socket located on

the back panel of the autoclave.

11. Turn the two ball valves so that the levers are parallel to the pipes entering and leaving them (Fig. 11

& 12).

12. Open the water tap upstream of PURA™ and let the water run for at least 1 minute

13. Turn the two ball valves so that the levers are at right angles to the pipes (Fig. 13 & 14).

14. Check that the final condition of PURA™ resembles the one shown in figures 15 & 16.

15. Check that no water is leaking out and put PURA™ in its original position.

16. The autoclave settings and programming are given in the autoclave manual.
