Setting up the charging station
Filling the vacuum pump with oil
• Please note the specifications of the vacuum pump!
Please note! The oil must be changed after every 20 hours of operation.
Adjusting the gauges
• Before use, all gauges must be set to 0 using the adjusting screws.
Attach the desired refrigerant scale to the gauges
2.
Evacuating
Use the filling hose connections to connect the charging station and the cooling
•
device.
Blue valve (2) blue filling hose
Red valve (3) red filling hose
Switch on vacuum pump, open blue valve (b), red valve (c), yellow valve (a).
•
Open valve on vacuum gauge (4).
•
When the ultimate vacuum is achieved, close valve (a) and switch off the vacuum
•
pump. If the vacuum gauge remains at zero or only shifts by 2-3 graduation marks,
the system is sealed under vacuum.
If the indicator on the vacuum gauge (4) moves backwards, towards 1000 mbar
•
(atmospheric pressure), there is a leak in the system.
Close all valves after each work step.
3.
Filling the system
Put the refrigerant bottle on the scale and connect the container valve to the connector
•
(d) using the yellow filling hose.
Set charging scale to 0.
•
When filling the system via the intake side, open valves (e) and (b) as well as the valve
•
on the refrigerant container. Once the required filling level is reached, close all valves
and let the cooling device run.
Use the compound gauge (2) to read the suction pressure and the pressure gauge (3)
•
to read the pressure and the condensation temperature.
