PROBLEM

8. ATTACHMENTS

8.1 KITS FOR FRONT WEIGHTS
(Fig. 8.1 nr. 41)
These improve the machine's front stability, par-
ticularly when used on slopes. 

8.2 MAINTENANCE BATTERY CHARGER

(Fig. 8.1 nr. 42)
This keeps the battery in good working order 
when the machine is in storage, guaranteeing 
an optimum level of charge and longer battery 
life.
LIKELY CAUSE
–    c utting-means assembly is not 
parallel to the ground
–    i nefficient cutting means;
–    f orward speed too high 
compared to the height of grass 
being cut
–    c ollector channel is blocked
–    c utting-means assembly is full 
of grass
–    t he cutting means are 
unbalanced or loose
–    l oose bolts and screws
–    t he brake is not adjusted 
correctly
–    p roblems with the belt or the 
engagement device
–    r elease lever in position «B»
–    d amaged or loose parts
8.3 MULCHING" KIT (Fig. 8.1 nr. 43)
It chops the grass cuttings finely and leaves 
them on the lawn, instead of collecting them in 
the grass catcher.
8.4 CLOTH COVER (Fig. 8.1 nr. 44)
Protects the machine from dust when not in use.

SOLUTION
–    c heck the tyre pressure
(see 5.3.2)
–    r einstate the alignment of the 
cutting-means assembly in 
relation to the ground (see 6.4.1)
–    c ontact your Dealer
–    r educe the forward speed and/
or raise the cutting-means 
assembly (see 5.4.5)
–    w ait for the grass to dry
–    r emove the grass catcher and 
empty the collector channel
(see 5.4.7)
–    c lean the cutting means 
assembly (see 5.4.10)
–    c ontact your Dealer
–    c heck and tighten all the engine 
and frame bolts
–    c ontact your Dealer
–    c ontact your Dealer
– move it to position «A» (see 4.33)
–      stop the machine and 
disconnect the spark plug cable
–      inspect for damage
–      check for and tighten any loose 
parts.
–    h ave all checks, repair work and 
replacements carried out by a 
specialized Centre only
