The OSPREY ALPRIDE E1 AIRBAG SYSTEM uses 2 x AA batteries. The OSPREY ALPRIDE E1 AIRBAG SYSTEM has no Li-Ion / Li-Po battery,
no gas cartridges under pressure and no pyrotechnic trigger.
The OSPREY ALPRIDE E1 AIRBAG SYSTEM has no restrictions for traveling and shall not be considered a dangerous good as defined by the
Dangerous Goods Regulations.
There are absolutely no restrictions for traveling with the OSPREY ALPRIDE E1 AIRBAG SYSTEM. To avoid any misunderstanding with airport
security agents, we recommend announcing to the airlines that you are traveling with an electrical avalanche airbag WITHOUT a battery. The
OSPREY ALPRIDE E1 AIRBAG SYSTEM has a pressure relief valve system.

MALFUNCTION TROUBLE SHOOTING
1- Is the E1 on? –> Check LED
The airbag doesn't inflate 2- Are the SuperCapacitors charged enough (LED orange or green)?

1- The airbag is rolled instead of properly folded

3- The deflation knob is blocked in the deflating position, preventing the non-return valve to close

The system does not charge Make sure you are using brand new, premium quality alkaline or lithium AA / LR6 batteries.

and may not be removed.

No repairs or replacements will be made on avalanche airbag backpacks after five years from its manufacture date.
