8.6 Light Sources

Transmitted Light and Incident Light with the
LH113 Lamp Housing
• Adjust the brightness with the dial (Fig. 23.1).
Note:
The color temperature of about 4500 K is constant
and independent from the adjusted light intensity.
Note:
The
HI PLAN xx SL
HI PLAN CY xx SL
(Synchronized Light) objective lines permit ob-
jectives to be changed without adjusting the light
intensity.
If other light sources are used, for example
Leica EL6000, Leica SFL100/4000/7000 or lamp
housings with supply units, observe the sepa-
rate instruction manuals provided.

CAUTION
CAUTION
Switch on light sources only if they are firmly
connected to the microscope.
Uncontrolled light output poses a blinding
hazard!
• If present, switch on the external power unit of
the light source.
Caution!
Keep the lamp housing at least 10 cm away
from the wall, curtains, wallpaper, books and
other combustible objects! Fire Hazard!
