TROUBLE SHOOTING

NOTES:

CAUSE
Mains power or Control voltage not available.
High airend temperature.
Line voltage variation out of range.
Compressor operating above rated pressure.
Separator cartridge contaminated.
Low voltage.
Unbalanced voltage.
Damaged airend.
Compressed air filter(s) contaminated.
Air filter contaminated.
Compressor operating unloaded.
High voltage.
Defective or incorrect pressure switch setting.
Inlet valve malfunction.
Separator cartridge contaminated.
Incorrect pressure transducer setting
Minimum pressure valve malfunction.
Air system leaks.
Inlet valve malfunction.
System demand exceeds compressor delivery.
Refrigeration compressor not supplied power.
Condensate system malfunction.
Condenser dirty.
Low evaporator pressure.
REMEDY
§ Check incoming power supply.
§ Check the control circuit fuse.
Top up coolant.
§ Ensure voltage is correctly between operating limits
and that no voltage spikes are being introduced into
the supply by external equipment or power feed.
Set pressure to correct rating for machine.
Change air filter, and separator cartridge.
§ Ensure voltage does not drop below 10% on start up
and 6% running.
Correct incoming supply voltage.
† Change Airend.
Replace air filter(s).
Change air filter.
Set pressure to correct rating for machine.
Reduce site voltage to correct operating voltage.
Replace or set pressure to correct rating for machine.
† Fit inlet valve service kit.
Fit new Separator cartridge.
Set pressure to correct rating for machine.
† Fit Minimum pressure valve service kit.
† Fix leaks.
† Fit inlet valve service kit.
Reduce demand or install additional compressor.
Check incoming power supply.
Check the dryer protection fuse.
Check auxiliary contact on main motor contactor.
Check operation of drain valve.
Check operation of condensate check valves.
Clean condenser and replace panel filter element.
Check hot gas valve setting.
