10.2 Cowlings

Allow the vehicle to cool down sufficiently before re-
moving the panels.

For the performance of various maintenance tasks the mo-
tor cowlings must be removed.
1 Closure of lateral motor cowling
2 Lateral motor cowling
10.2.1.1 Remove the lateral motor cowling
Open both closures of the cowling.
Lift the cowling up towards the top and remove it to the
side.
10.2.1.2 Attaching the lateral motor cowling
Insert the covers from the side.
Hook the cover into the mounting groove on the upper
edge.
Slide the cover into the desired position and secure
with the locks.

10.2.2.1 Removing the front motor cowling
Prior to the removal of the front motor cowling, both lateral
motor cowlings must be removed.
Detach and remove both lateral motor cowlings.
Open left and right closure of the front motor cowling.
Lift and remove the cowling towards the top.
10.2.2.2 Attaching the front motor cowling
Hook in the front motor cowling and fixate with both clo-
sures.
Attach both lateral motor cowlings and fixate by means
of closures.
10.2.3.1 Removing the radiator grille
Lift the top of the radiator grille.
Ease out lower part.
Remove the radiator grille towards the bottom.
10.2.3.2 Attaching the radiator grille
Snap the radiator grille into place at the bottom and
then fold it in at the top.
