6. MAINTENANCE - CLEANING - LUBRICATION
6.1 ENGINE
Consult the engine instruction manual.
6.2 GREASING
Every to hours, grease the points shown in fig.7:
n.1 Front axle pivot pins (2 grease nipples)
n.2 Kingpin (2 grease nipples: right and left)
It is advisable to use AGIP LP2 grease.
6.3 FILLING WITH OIL
6.3.1 Transmission casing and lift
Check the oil level every 50 hours using the plug with dipstick n.19 fig.1.
It is advisable to use AGIP SUPER TRACTOR UNIVERSAL SAE 15W/40 oil.
Change the oil every 800 hours. Quantity needed: about 17 kg.
Drain oil: plug n.1 fig.8.
Oil fill: plug n.19 fig.1.
Keep the oil vent plug clean. Find it on the hydraulic lift casing under the seat.
6.3.2.1 Clean hydraulic lift oil filter
Clean the filter every 400 hours, whenever the oil is changed and whenever the
filter clogged warning light comes on.
Clean the filter after the first 50 hours.
To do this, drain the oil out, remove the filter which is in front of the right
platform:
wash it with petrol or diesel, dry it thoroughly and replace it in its seat.
6.3.3 Brake and differential lock oil
Check the level every 150 hours.
The tank n.1 fig.13 - for models 35-37-40-1046-1047-1247 See fig.20 -, behind
the dashboard, must always be at least three-quarters full.
It is advisable to use AGIP OSO 15 oil.
The circuit does not need any special maintenance. Just check on the level from
time to time as mentioned above.
If air gets into the circuit, top up the level and then bleed the brakes by
slackening off the screws on the brake cylinders on the wheel hubs. Pump the
brake pedal until only brake fluids comes out.
6.3.4 Front transmission oil
Check the level every 50 hours using the dipstick on plug n.3 fig.17.
It is advisable to use AGIP SUPER TRACTOR UNIVERSAL SAE 15W/40 oil
Change the oil every 800 hours. Amount needed: around 3.5Kg for the wide
