•
Check that the installation pressure is lower than the one indicated on the label "TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS"
•
Check that temperature ranges within the values indicated on the label "TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS"
•
WARNING: When using water it is necessary to empty the hose if temperature goes below zero
otherwise the hose gets damaged.
•
Warning: never use the hose reel at maximum pressure with liquid at maximum pressure.
•
Choose the installation position so that the hose is bent as little as possible on the outlet rollers.
Place the hose reel far from heat sources, do not expose to dampness and chemicals.
•
For the fitting choose a flat and sound wall.
•
Check that holes for dowels do not interfere with water pipes or electrical cables.
•
Use bolts which have a minimum twisting resistance moment of 4000 N and are long enough to secure a
sound fixing.
•
For the revolving installation follow instructions "1", for a fixed installation follow instructions "2".
1)
Revolving hose reel
Fix bracket N to wall or to ceiling.
Secure bracket O to the hose reel.
Hook the hose reel to bracket N and fasten everything with the washer B and the nut A.
The hose reel can now rotate of 55° on the right and 55° on the left.
2)
Fixed hose reel
Fix bracket N to wall or to ceiling.
Secure bracket O to the hose reel.
Hook the hose reel to bracket N and fasten everything with the washer B and the nut A.
Fasten brackets O and N with locking bolts and nuts as in T and U part A
•
Install a tap at the top end of the hose.
•
Connect with mains with a flexible pipe 60 cm. long.
•
Insert the hose in the appropriate bracket R to avoid twisting.
•
Check that after installation the hose is not obstructing the reel right/left rotation.
•
Connect delivery gun with hose (provided as an accessory on request)
•
Turn supply on and check all fittings in order to detect possible leaks.
When hose has been taken out enough to be used, the drum must be blocked , the delivery is carried out and
then the hose must be completely rewound using your hand to guide it.
a.
The hose reel is provided with a blocking system which consists of a ring gear and a pawl F, which
goes in operation only during the hose unwinding phase.
b.
In order to block the drum it is necessary to release the hose when the pawl passes over the ring
gear.
c.
In order to rewind the hose after having locked the drum it is enough to pull the hose out of about
0.5 m. and then holding the delivery gun with your hand guide the hose till rewinding is
completed.
d.
The drum locks only when the hose is pulled out.
•
Weight and overall dimensions are indicated on page 11-12.
•
The hose reel is packed in such a way that none of its components can be damaged during transportation.
•
The packaging must not be discarded into the environment.
•
To store or to move a new equipment does not require any special care and it does not involve any risk.
•
If it is necessary to scrap the hose reel, all its parts containing liquid must be emptied, in order to avoid
accidental leakage.
