Before each measurement, ensure that the reflective mirror and the sensor lens
are clear and clean, otherwise the measurement may be inaccurate.

MEASUREMENT ON THE FOREHEAD

Use of the device is not a substitute for examination by a doctor. Find out the
values which are critical to you and consult a doctor as soon as these values are

exceeded. The same applies to measuring results which are ambiguous.
The person having their body temperature taken should avoid any fluctuating
ambient temperatures for at least 5 minutes before the measurement. You should

also avoid any strenuous physical activity or taking a bath for at least 30 minutes
before the measurement.
Make sure that the forehead is dry and free from dirt and cosmetics during the
measurement. Avoid placing the device on any scarred areas.
