2 IZAR PULSE H 3-
IZAR PULSE H is connected to an index display unit or any other pulse metering device by
connecting the brown (ground) wire and the white (pulse) wire.
The tampering detection feature, which identifies any attempt at tampering, unclipping and cable
cut-off of the emitter, is activated by connecting the green wire.
Flexible, unshielded cable (1.5m) comprising 3 wires with a diameter of 0.34 mm
IZAR PULSE H
It is crucial to match up the polarities and use the right voltage to prevent damage to IZAR PULSE
H (if power supply greater than 30 V/100 mA) and to be able to generate correctly usable signals.
3 IZAR PULSE H 4-
Connection of IZAR PULSE H 4-wire version to an index display unit or any other pulse metering
device is performed by connecting the brown (ground) wire and the white (pulse) wire.
The flow direction information is indicated by the direction output (yellow wire).
The tampering detection feature, which identifies any attempt at unclipping and cable cut-off of the
emitter, is activated by connecting the green wire.
Flexible, unshielded cable (5 m) comprising 4 wires with a diameter of 0.25 mm
IZAR PULSE H
It is crucial to match up the polarities and use the right voltage to prevent damage to IZAR
PULSE H (if power supply higher than 30V/100mA) and to be able to generate correctly
usable signals.
NB: If the direction information (yellow wire) is not used, all pulses will be considered as
positive. If in doubt, contact Diehl Metering to check the compatibility of the equipment used.
The installer shall be liable for any installation that does not comply with the above instructions,
and Diehl Metering disclaims all liability in that respect.
