Maintenance interval
As necessary or at the latest in the specified intervals,
the following maintenance work is required:
• Cleaning the cover plate - every week, to be done by
the operator
• Cleaning the urinal bowl - every week, to be done by
the operator
• Replacing the batteries - when the battery indicator
lights up - to be done by the operator
• Cleaning the basket filter - every 2 years, to be done
by a skilled person

Cleaning the cover plate
CAUTION
Aggressive and scouring cleaning agents
can damage the surface.

Never use aggressive cleaning agents that
contain chlorine or are acidic, abrasive or
corrosive
We cannot accept any complaints arising from
damage caused by improper treatment with
cleaning agents.
Cleaning the urinal bowl

Temporarily turn off the flush function with the
HyTronic Service Handy or the HyTronic Clean
Handy.

Clean the urinal ceramic.

Replacing the batteries

Prerequisites
Cover plate has been removed.
See "Service, Removing the cover plate and
mounting frame".
Battery indicator flashes: Low battery voltage,
flush control still works.
Battery indicator lights up: Battery empty, flush
control does not work any longer.

Insert two new batteries of type AA, lithium 1.5 V.
