Hands and arms must be protected when
handling batteries as they could come into
contact with battery acid.
For indoor use only
Due to its design (protection class), this
device may only be used in dry, indoor
areas.

This is a class I device (protective earthing
conductor)
Only connect to circuits with ade-
quate fuse protection
The current required by the device can be
very high (see technical data). The electrical
circuit to which the device is connected must
have adequate fuse protection.
Protection rating IP21
This device is protected against the ingress
of vertically falling water.

1.2 Intended use

The BLG 12/24 V – 50 A battery charger is to be
used exclusively for charging rechargeable 12 or
24 V wet-cell batteries (including lead-calcium and
EFB), as well as maintenance-free AGM, gel, fleece
and lithium ion rechargeable batteries, within its
specification and application limits. Non-rechargea-
ble batteries or primary cells must not be connected
to it!
The intended use also includes compliance with this
operation manual. Any use of the device that goes
beyond the intended use or is different is conside-
red misuse and may lead to dangerous situations.
WARNING! Danger due to misuse!
Misuse of the device may lead to dangerous situa-
tions. Therefore:
• Do not operate the device outside of its specifica-
tions and application limits.
• Do not use the device in explosive atmospheres.
• Do not open, change or tamper with the device.
Claims of any type due to damage as a result of
improper use are excluded.
