Adjust the handlebar (2, Fig. C) using the handles (3),
to reach a comfortable position.
Solution tank filling up

Open the cover (2, Fig. G) of the tanks.
9.
Fill the solution tank (6, Fig. G) with an appropriate
solution, depending on the cleaning.
It is possible to check the tank filling up with the marks
(26, Fig. C).
Do not fill the solution tank completely and let the
solution level a few centimetres from the rim.
Always follow the dilution instructions on container
label of the chemical product used to create the
solution.
The solution temperature must be under 100°F
(40°C); better use sold water.
CAUTION!
Use only low-foam and non-flammable
solutions, appropriate to the use.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE MACHINE

DANGER!
Before starting the machine, check the
supply cable (23, Fig. C) carefully for any
kind of damage, such as cuts, cracks,
abrasions or wear.
In case the machine shows this kind of
damages, do not use it but contact an
authorized Nilfisk-Advance Service Centre,
to have the cable replaced with an original
one.
Starting the machine
1.
Prepare the machine as described in the previous
paragraph.
2.
Unroll the supply cable (23, Fig. C) and introduce the
supply plug (22, Fig. C) in the electric system socket.
3.
Lower the squeegee (10, Fig. C) using the lever (19).
4.
Lower the brush (8, Fig. C) using the pedal (20).
5.
Position the solution flow adjusting lever (4, Fig. B) in
the most appropriate position, depending on the type
of cleaning to be carried out.
6.
Keep a hand on the handlebar (2, Fig. C), start the
machine using the brush and vacuum push-buttons
(2 and 3, Fig. B).

Stopping the machine
7.
Position the brush and vacuum push-buttons in "0"
position (2 and 3, Fig. B).
8.
Disengage the supply plug (22, Fig. C) from the
electric system socket and roll the cable (23).
9.
Lift the brush using the pedal (20, Fig. C).
10. Lift the squeegee using the lever (19, Fig. C).
MACHINE OPERATION
(WASHING/DRYING)
1.
Start the machine as described in the previous
paragraph.
2.
Keep both hands on the handlebar (2, Fig. C),
manoeuvre the machine and start the floor
washing/drying.
DANGER
Be careful: the rotating brush must not
come in contact with the supply cable (23,
Fig. C) while the machine is working.
CAUTION
To avoid any damage to the floor surface,
stop the brush rotation using the switch (2,
Fig. B) when the machine stops in one
place.
CAUTION
Before lifting the brush/pad-holder, stop its
rotation using the switch (2, Fig. B).
Machine drive controls

Depending on the floor type, or on the use of the
brush or the pad-holder, the machine front drive
speed and the forward straightaway movement
(without turning to the right or to the left) can change.
They can be adjusted using the two knobs (16 and
17, Fig. G) on the brush-holder, proceeding as
follows:
– The machine moves towards the left by turning
the adjusting knob counter-clockwise (16, Fig. G);
the machine moves towards the right by turning
the knob clockwise;
– The machine speed increases by turning the
adjusting knob counter-clockwise (17, Fig. G); the
machine speed decreases by turning the knob
clockwise.
