Tool service must be performed by qualifi erd repair personnel only.

When servicing a tool, use identical and authorised parts only.

Only use the suitable lubricants for this type of tool.

Do not remove labels and nameplates of the tool as they contain important safety information.
2.
Keep your hands away from pad plates and pins during operation.
3.
Do not move workpiece while compressed.
4.
Release load before service or maintenance.
5.
Do not place any objects unter the pad plates. If the pad plates rest on obstruction (i.e.
a bolt, debris, etc.), it will create an uneven press, causing excessive load and possible
breakage.
6.
Do not stand directly in front of the press when loaded. Do not leave the press unattended
when loaded.
7.
Avoid off-center loads. Do not operate if workpiece tilts or binds during compression.
8.
STOP and release compression if you suspect imminent structural failure. If safe, inspect
thoroughly and reposition before proceeding.
9.
Do not compress springs or other elastic objects. They could disengage hazardously.
10. Keep bystanders out of work area.
11. 12 Ton Limit. Do not operate the hydraulic jack beyond rated capacity.
12. Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged.
13. Jack service must be performed only by qualifi ed repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualifi ed personnel could result in a risk of injury.
14. When servicing the bottle jack, only use identical replacement parts - refer to the Parts List
and the corresponding diagram. Follow instructions in the "Maintenance" section of this
manual. Use of unauthorised parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions may create
the risk of injury.
15. Only use with accessories rated to handle the forces exerted by this tool during operation.
