Cause
No electrical contact
between sprayer and

spraying unit are clog‐
ged.
The pulsation damper
on the pump is not
working properly.
The nozzle is blocked. ► Clean the nozzle.
The nozzle is worn.
The hose clamp has
come loose.
The pressure in the
container is too high.
Remedy
► If 4 LEDs continue to flash red and short
beeps sound in quick succession: Do not
use the battery and contact your STIHL
dealer for assistance.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean electrical contacts in the battery
compartment.
► Insert battery.
► Allow sprayer or battery to dry.
► Remove the battery.
► Allow sprayer to cool down.
► Remove battery and reinsert it.
► Switch on the sprayer.
► Fully charge battery as described in the
User Manual for chargers STIHL AL 101,
300, 500.
► Replace battery.
► FIll the container.
► Insert the battery and switch the sprayer
on.
► Keep the switch lever of the spray gun
pressed for approx. 1 minute.
► If there is still no plant protection product
being drawn up, do not use the sprayer
and contact your STIHL dealer for assis‐
tance.
► Clean filter and spray attachment.
► Switch off the sprayer and remove the
battery.
► Empty container.
► Insert the battery and switch the sprayer
on.
► Keep the switch lever of the spray gun
pressed for at least 30 seconds.
► Fill container again.
► Fit a new nozzle.
► Tighten the screw of the hose clamp
firmly.
► Switch off the sprayer and remove the
battery.
► Press the switch lever of the spray gun to
release the pressure.
