Straightening hair
1) Prepare the hair as described in "Before straightening" .
2) Start with the lower sections of hair at the back of your head . Work around
the sides towards the front:
Take a strand of hair about 2 cm wide and hold the end of the strand tightly
between your index and middle finger of the hand that is not holding the
hair straightener .
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

Ensure that the hotplates 5 6 do not touch your scalp . Never touch the
hotplates 5 6 or the upper part of the hair straightener during operation!
Risk of burns!
3) Clamp the strand near the root between the hotplates 5 6 and press them
together .
4) Pull the entire strand through the hotplates 5 6 by pulling the hair straightener
quickly downwards from the root to the tips .
5) Proceed in the same way for every strand .
6) Once you have straightened all the strands, switch the appliance off and pull
the power plug from the mains power socket .
7) Allow the appliance to cool down completely .
Cleaning

Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance .

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids during cleaning!

Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it .
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents . They could damage
the surface .
1) Wipe the housing and the hotplates 5 6 with a damp cloth .
2) For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth . Wipe off any detergent
residue using a cloth moistened with clean water only .
3) Allow the appliance to dry fully before using it again .
