Warning! High voltage! The device generates "high
voltage" when it is in use. Hang the device by the
preinstalled mounting ring so that the device is out
of reach. Never use the device, set it up or hang it
up so that it is within reach!
Attention! Please observe the country-specific
rules on the use of insect killers. Operation out of
doors is prohibited in Germany for environmental
protection reasons since useful insects could be
killed!

5. G etting started
Find a suitable location and insert the plug into a mains so-
cket. The Insect Killer is ready for use. You can set the Insect
Killer on a table or ledge, hang it up or fix it to the wall. Please
note that the Insect Killer and the power cord should always
be placed out of the reach of children.
• When setting up the device, use the cable lugs on the de-
vice to secure the cables.
• When hanging the unit, use the built hook at the top of the
device. Never hang the device by the power cord. Make sure
that the power is laid safely so that the Insect Killer cannot
be accidentally pulled down. Hang the device at a height of
1,5 m - 3 m.
• If the unit is to be hung on the wall, use the wall hanger on
the back of the unit.
Important warning when drilling in walls:
Before drilling, make sure that there are no gas, water or po-
wer lines located at the drilling spot. Installation may only
be done by competent persons. Please pay attention to the
condition and material of the wall as the included mounting
material is not suitable for all wall types. Please ask an ex-
pert for advice concerning suitable screws and dowels. For
improper mounting and resulting damages the manufacturer
assumes no liability.
Cleaning:
Before cleaning the device, disconnect the power plug and
wait 30 seconds for the high voltage grid to unload. First
clean the grille with the included narrow brush. To empty
the collecting tray, give the bottom of the unit a short turn.
The tray will become loose and can easily be cleaned. You
can clean the tray under running water. Make sure the tray is
completely dry before replacing it.

• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to
rebuild or modify the device and/or use it in any other way
than described above.
• As Gardigo has no control of the correct of appropriate
installation and use of the device the warranty can only
be applied to a fully equipped device in prime condition.
We assume neither warranty nor liability for damages or
following damages related to this product. This applies es-
pecially if it has been modifications or repairs have been
made by the customer, if the circuitry has been modified
or components have been used other than the original
components and/or if the operation of the device has been
incorrect, careless or abusive.
