If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its service or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
Do not use the unit if the connection cable or plug is

damaged.
To prevent hazards, before continuing to use the unit have a

new connection cable installed solely by the manufacturer or
its customer service department or a similarly qualified person
Never open the unit housing under any circumstances. If live
•
connections are touched and the electrical or mechanical
structure changes, there is a danger of electric shock.
Never touch any parts that are conducting electricity. They
•
can cause an electric shock or even lead to death.
Always pull the power supply line from the electric socket
•
with the connection plug, not on the connection cable.
Make sure the mains cable does not get caught anywhere,
•
which could lead to the unit falling down.
Do not use the packing material as a toy. Danger of
•
suffocation.
Do not fill the electric kettle with water past the highest
•
mark. Water that bubbles over can lead to injuries.
Do not open the lid during the boiling process.
•
Do not touch the outer wall of the unit; it can get hot.
•
Never immerse the unit or the base station into water or any
•
other liquid.
Touch the unit only on the handle.
•
Make sure there is always sufficient water in the unit (the
•
bottom should be covered) to prevent dry boiling.
Never use the unit near a heat source.
•
Never use the unit outdoors. Store in a dry place.
•
Never operate the unit in the bathroom.
•
Always pull the plug from the electric socket when filling with
•
water, after each use and before cleaning.
Make sure to use the unit only together with the supplied base
•
station. Never use the base station for any other purpose.
Switch the unit on only after you have filled it with water. Use
•
cold water only.
