4.1
Getting ready for use
. Insert air filter in guide rails.
● CAUTION! The appliance must not be operated without an air filter, otherwise contamination dirt
will accumulate on the induction generators. This results in
− malfunctions,
− power reduction,
− induction generators being switched off.
4.2
Switching appliance on
. Place a pan or pot on top of the glass ceramic cooking surface/glass ceramic bowl.
. Use the rotary switch to switch on the appliance and set the required power level.
● Setting range 1-9: 1 = low power, 9 = high power.
Control lamp display when the cooking zone is switched on:
Glows
Flashes
Flashes intermittently
. After removing the pot or pan, turn the rotary switch to "0".
4.3
Application instructions
● Observe the safety notes, see page 25 section 2.
● Only place cookware and bakeware on the clean glass ceramic cooking surface!
● Only use stainless steel pots that are suitable for induction ranges and have a thick, smooth base
and with a diameter of at least 120 mm.
● The heating performance is dependent on the diameter and constitution of the base of the
crockery.
● To keep food warm or to melt fat or butter, use only low power settings.
● Do not reduce the heat by moving the pot but by using the rotary switch.
● Close pots with lids if the cooking process permits.
● Use high-sided pots for dishes with lots of liquid to prevent them boiling over.

. Exercise appropriate caution!
When cookware has been placed on top.
If no cookware is placed on the top or the pot/pan is too small and not
detected.
