mission quality can substantially be changed by dis-
GB
placing the camera and the receiver by a few centi-
metres only.
If required, the camera can be mounted at a suit-
able place with the supplied support (3). After releasing
the corresponding screws, the camera can be inclined
and moved.
4.2 Charging the rechargeable battery of the camera
For power supply the camera is equipped with a
rechargeable lithium battery by which it can be oper-
ated for approx. 5 hours. However, for a permanent
operation the charger can also remain continuously
connected to the camera.
Caution! Do not interchange the 5 V charger of the
camera and the 8 V power supply unit (13) of the
receiver.
1) Connect the low voltage plug (9) of the charger to
the jack DC5V (5) of the camera and the charger to
a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
2) During charging, the green LED "Charge" (6) lights
up. The charging time of a discharge rechargeable
battery is approx. 2 hours.
3) If the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the
green LED will be extinguished. The charger can be
disconnected from the mains and from the camera.

4.3 Connecting the receiver
1) Connect the jack A / V (16) to the monitor via the
adapter cable provided:
connect the red phono plug to the audio input,
connect the yellow phono plug to the video input
2) Connect the supplied reception antenna (17) to the
SMA jack (10). Alternatively, with insufficient re-
ceiving quality, it is also possible to use a 2.4 GHz
directional antenna with corresponding gain, e. g.
an antenna of the DX series from MONACOR.
3) Connect the plug of the supplied 8 V power supply
unit (13) to the jack DC8V (15) and the power sup-
ply unit to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
4.4 Channel selection
The wireless transmission is made in the 2.4 GHz
range which has been divided into four channels for the
series of units AV-4xxSET. Two wireless cameras can
be operated at the same time, e. g. to monitor two
rooms. For this purpose always one channel between
the two transmission channels must remain free, so
that they do not interfere with each other. The following
channel combinations are possible:
channel 1 and channel 3 or
channel 1 and channel 4 or
channel 2 and channel 4
1) Select the operating mode of the receiver with the
DIP switch M/L (14):
Position M = manual channel selection: Adjust the
desired transmission channel with the button (11).
