Take note if the flame becomes red, is weak, or releases black smoke because it means the burn pot is
encrusted and needs cleaning. Replace when worn (see
Place ash in a metal container with sealed lid. Never let the container come into contact with combustible
material (e.g. on a wooden floor) because the ash stays hot for a long time. Only when the ash has gone
out completely throw it in with organic waste.
Frequency of cleaning depends on the type of pellets.
