Repairs to electrical devices must only be carried out by the

factory service department or specialists who have been
trained by the manufacturer.
During the warranty period the device must be opened only by personnel
authorised by the manufacturer, otherwise the warranty will be void.

Causes of malfunctions and their rectification
Malfunction
The upper blade does not
move
across the
full bearing surface.
Top blade does not move. Defective gear wheel.
Shearing pressure adjust-
ment knob is jammed.

Not enough pressure can
be applied to the upper

Chicken feet fall out.

Retaining spring broken.
Eccentric shaft and/or ball
and swivelling fork are
worn (insufficient lubrica-

Bearings are heavily
