OPERATION
This cordless kettle quickly brings 1.7 litres of water
to the boil. The kettle is very practical to use, as it can
rotate 360° on its base. The kettle is equipped with
an indicator lamp in the on/off switch, a thermostat
and safe boil-dry protection. The hinged lid never gets
lost and the removable limescale filter ensures that no
particles of lime are poured out with the water. The level
indicator clearly shows how much water is in the kettle.
uSING FOR THE FIRST TImE
• Remove all packaging from the appliance.
• Clean the appliance, see 'Cleaning and Maintenance'.
• First boil a full jug of water in accordance with the pro-
cedure in 'Using the appliance', in order to clean the jug.
• Dispose of the boiled water. If you then refill the kettle
with water, the boil-dry protection cools down and the
kettle is again ready for normal use.
• Continue with the procedure in 'Using the appliance'.
uSING THE APPLIANCE
• Remove the kettle from its base, to avoid spilling
water on the base during filling.
• Open the lid with the button on the handle.
• Fill the kettle between the minimum and maximum
marks. Too little water can result in the kettle switching
off prematurely, and too much may result in the kettle
boiling over.
