4.6.9 Power on/off
The unit is powered up using the grey switch on the front panel of the loop driver. If the
device is powered, the Power LED lights up.
To switch the unit off, press the Power switch on the front of the driver again. Please note
that the device enters a stand-by mode when switched off. Disconnect the mains plug
from the socket in order to switch off the appliance completely.
4.6.10 Loop OK
This green LED on the front of the amplifier monitors the function of the loop. If the loop
is disrupted, short-circuited or if the loop resistance is not between 0.5 and 3 Ohm, the
»Loop OK« LED will not be lit and the »Protect« and/or »Clip« LEDs will light up instead.

4.6.11 Protect / Clip
The »Protect« and »Clip« LEDs indicate the status of the device. These red LEDs will light
up if:
- The ohmic resistance of the inductive loop is not between 0.5 and 3 Ohm
- The respective driver section is overloaded or overheated
- The input level is too high, resulting in clipping of the audio signal.
