Cleaning Instructions
Remove dirt and deposits at regular intervals from the outside and inside of the scale.
The procedure depends both on the type of surface and on the environmental conditions prevailing at the
installation location.

6.3 Battery Operation

Check the battery before operation. Recharge the battery according to [Battery Charging   Page 12] when the
battery level is low.
Please refer to the weighing terminal manual for further explanation on battery level indication.
This unit is delivered with one of the following battery configurations.
Pb Battery 1.2Ah
The voltage level of the battery is shown in the weighing terminal. When the battery indication only shows one
bar, the battery should be charged. When the battery is completely empty, the weighing system switches off.

6.3.1 Battery Life

Refer to [Specifications   Page 4] for battery life of the unit.

6.3.2 Battery Charging

In order to maximum the lifetime of the battery, follow the charging instructions below precisely. Follow the
charging hours as stated in [Specifications   Page 4].
The battery pack (1) should be charged using the
charging station (2) supplied. The light on the plug (3)
shows green when the charging station is charging, and
shows red when the battery is fully charged. Remove the
battery pack from the charging station when it is fully
charged.

6.3.3 Battery Disposal

As a result of normal use over a period of time, the available power in the battery pack will be reduced and it
will lose its ability to power the terminal for an extended time. When this occurs, the battery pack should be
replaced and the original battery must be disposed of properly.
Follow local laws and regulations regarding the disposal of the battery.

6.4 To Expel Air

Air may enter the pump unit when the seals are replaced or when the oil is changed.
1 To expel the air, pump the handle for a few time until the air is expelled.
2 If needed, lower the forks and repeat pumping for a few more times until the air is expelled from the pump.
